Switch On2 Class

Indian dancers are traveling globally to different salsa festivals and the usual concern is that we may not know how to dance On2 or Mambo. If you are dancing salsa On1 for some time and comfortable dancing socially, switching to On2 is not very difficult. We have some easy tips and tricks to help you understand the conceptual change, after which socially leading and following will definitely become a breeze. We will be borrowing teaching excerpts from Adolfo Indaccochea’s World Mastery Programme and helping incorporate music understanding, Son, basic body movement along with footwork and shines. LEVEL - Recommended for Salsa On1 dancers Only. This is not an absolute beginners class. IMPORTANT On2 is a time signature and MAMBO is a style of dancing within that time signature. You will be able to understand the timing of On2 fairly easily but to gain the fluidity and body language of MAMBO takes time & practice.
