THIS IS THE WORKSHOP YOU'VE BEEN DREAMING ABOUT! We're going to go over everything you need to know to get more out of your swivels, and many different styles, from past to present. WHAT ABOUT THOSE SWITCHES?? Yep, we will spend a good chunk of time on Switches and heaps of variations to keep you busy for years. "I'M A GUY, MAY I ATTEND?" YES! YES! YES! We had three guys at our last Swivel Styling workshop in addition to the twenty women. As we know, Lindy Hop lead and follow roles are not gender specific, and these days it is quite popular for men to follow and ladies to lead. So come along, fellows, and join the fun. Do us a favor, just don't swivel better than us gals! (Only kidding!... Not really!) WHAT TO WEAR? SHOES: 1. Pair of flats 2. Pair of heels Make sure they are suede or leather bottoms. Definitely don't wear sticky soled shoes, like rubber. If you don't have suede or leather soled shoes, you can bring a pair of socks to put over your shoes; that'll work just fine. ATTIRE: 1.
