COVID POLICY: PROOF OF VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID TEST Swung/TX is a WCS social focused on community, learning as much as we can about the dance, and moving forward. This social is designed for EVERYONE, from beginners first starting out to the champions in our scene. Our goal is to be a part of helping the Austin WCS scene regroup after COVID-19 and make it even better than it was before. We are BEYOND pleased to have Debbie Bernard Figueroa will be joining us for our first Swung/TX event of 2023! Debbie is one of the most experienced instructors and dancers not just in Austin but in the West Coast Swing Circuit. It would be impossible to list out everything she's done but her portfolio includes chief judging several events, over 20 years teaching experience, and several years of event directing. She has given so much to our scene and we are so lucky to have her teaching a westies workshop for us! Becca Yasskin will be teaching an intro to West Coast Swing workshop for all of your friends who want to join our crazy dance and don't know where to start! This will be happening parallel to Debbie's workshop from 8:30 pm-9:30 pm. BRING A NEWCOMER SPECIAL! Bring a newcomer to the beginner workshop, and both you and them will get 50% off your night!
