Sylvia's Tea Dance - NEW VENUE! - February 2024

A new venue for February's Sylvia's Sunday Tea Dance! No need to book: just turn up - £12 cash on the door. High Wych Memorial Hall CM21 0HX is next to St James church in the village of High Wych near Sawbridgeworth just north of Harlow off the A1184. The hall has an excellent dance floor which is cleaned regularly. There is a large free car park behind the building. There will be the same celebrated food spread with delicious snacks, cake and savouries. Tea and coffee too (please bring your own mug). You're welcome to bring your own drinks and glasses. TDJ Steven will play 3-track traditional tandas (TTVTTM) for the first 90 minutes with full length danceable alternative cortinas. After 4pm there will be a mix of alternative/nuevo and traditional tracks to take you through to the 6.30pm finish. I will adapt the musict to match the mood of the dancers with the aim of keeping everyone happy and on the dance floor! 🎼
