If you desire to converse, please move your conversation to the astroturf foyer outside the door, or take a breather for fresh air outside. Keep voices to a respectable volume when on the street. . All expressions are indeed welcome; please feel empowered to laugh, cry, scream and shout. This is a sober space, to embody your emotions fully without reliance on use of substance. Clear mind, centered hearts. . We are propagating a consent-based culture: please tune in with clear yeses and no's when engaging with others on the dancefloor. This is a judgement free zone. Here is a space to embody what's moving within you. No cameras or footage allowed. One of our team may take photos of the dj to share for their own profiles, yet this isn't a space for recording others in their movement journeys. An innovative composer, producer, and dj, they are interested in the transformational properties of music, movement, bhajan, and community. They have previously released four albums - earlier ones under the moniker Haitchc, have composed multiple original film scores, and are currently working on material for their fifth full-length release. Raghunath is a formal brahmana initiate within the brahma-madhva-gaudiya sampradaya (lineage), having spent several uninterrupted years as a monk studying and serving in temples both in Canada and India. They belong to the sodalities of bhakti, tantra, and ashtanga, and through familial succession, draoidh healing practice. Regularly performing, teaching, and orchestrating events, they are affiliated with Full Moon Medicine, Back Beyond, Waxing Moon, and Intention Gathering, and are a co-resident dj and organizer at Vancouver's long-running Just Dance night. In addition, Raghunath contributes musically and otherwise to various festivals and gatherings locally and internationally. After 7 years of touring internationally with the band Delhi 2 Dublin, he is now performing throughout Canada as a solo artist He performs on various instruments including his own very unique inventions, the “Persian Tennis Racquet” and “Indian Electric Guitar". The subject of 2 CBC documentaries, he has also performed with artists such as Bif Naked, Michael Franti, Arrested Development, and appears on a Raffi CD.
