This movement session will be a practice of deep listening through your senses, awakening dormant codes of somatic cognition and unfolding authentic expression. Breathing deeply and flowing freely~ Coming back Home within . This dance floor will be a safe space to express your process to the outer worlds without needing words. If you desire to converse, please move your chat to the chill zone to the right of the dj in the venue and keep voices to a whisper.. or take a breather outside. Keep voices down when on the street outside. . All expressions are indeed welcome; please feel empowered to laugh, cry, scream and shout. This is a sober space, to embody your emotions fully without reliance on use of substance. Clear mind, centered hearts. . We are propagating a consent-based culture: please tune in with clear yeses and no's when engaging with others on the dancefloor. This is a judgement free zone. Here is a space to embody what's moving within you. No cameras or footage allowed. One of our team may take photos of the dj to share for their own profiles, yet this isn't a space for recording others in their movement journeys. This is a space of presence and acceptance of all that is. . This will be a space to move to the beat of your heart, the rhythm of the depths of your being, and the spaces in-between sounds. He has a very eclectic style as a DJ, because he has been curating dance music since the eighties from all parts of the world. He has found ecstatic dance to be a very spiritual experience, and believes it is a place where you can find yourself and lose yourself in dance. Shauny likes to curate a space where you can completely let go of your ego and let the music take over. He is most concerned with providing an ecstatic dance experience that takes you on a journey. Starting slow, building the tempo to a peak, and then taking you back down, activating all of the chakras along the way. Ecstatic dance is Shauny’s passion and he has been fortunate enough to attend dances in countries all over the world. Shauny has been recognized for DJing at Vancouver flow jams and local BC parties, and is passionate about playing music that will make you move. The foundation of the process is breath as we listen, feel and receive what is - and respond, release, weave with our voice and bodies. The Opening of the Freedom Sphere will unite with a sound meditation, expanding our awareness of connection with and as Creation. This container has the potential of healing, quantum creation, and awakening new layers of the voice and wisdom of the body. It is intimacy within to access and embody our whole selves. It is an opportunity to create a boundary of integrity in our selves, creating magnetism with frequencies that are in resonance to our note in Harmony, our signature frequency, so that we may sound our true Krystal Heart Song.
