Soul Motion, in cooperation with Egyptian Tango Project, is excited to announce that we are bringing to Cairo Gisela Vidal and Ariel Yanovsky coming all the way from Buenos Aires to share their Tango knowledge with us. 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃 A message from Gisela and Ariel: “Hello everybody! We are very happy because this year we are going to be in Egypt! We would like to give you an idea of our method and our way of bringing Tango around the world. We will be based in El Cairo for one month and we want you to make the most of our staying. If you really want to learn tango, improve or refine your skills you will have the possibility of doing it! Basically, in our lessons we will put particular attention in learning movements and adjusting technique more than learning steps by heart. This method will allow you to create your own sequences without following patterns. We will analyze our body movements and the relation with the partner in every moment to improve the way to lead and follow. Topics like connection, embrace, musicality, perception, social awareness, resistance, axis and elegance will be covered in our lessons. We will also focus in understanding possibilities from every position to improve our movements while dancing. We hope to see everybody there to keep learning, training and of course having fun!!!” 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃 Instructors Bio: GISELA VIDAL DANCER, TEACHER, TANGO COREOGRAPHER AND ACTRESS Gisela Vidal was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she has started with the art of tango at 14 years old. She extensively trained in Tango Salon and Stage style with the best Argentinean Masters. She also trained intensively in Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Belly Dance, Ballet, Argentine Folk, Salsa, Theatre, Mime and Clown. She has participated in many International Tango Festivals, TV shows and major events such as the opening of the Dakar 2009 in Buenos Aires and danced at the Great Hall of the Kremling in Russia. She has participated in many national and international events with the Tango Company "Secrets of Tango" and "Tango Seduction" directed by Gustavo Russo and "Tango Baile" directed by Andres Linetsky. Gisela has co-managed a Tango school in Milan in 2009 with Enrique De Fazio (Hemanos Macana) and she also has coordinated the "Tango Querido" School in Tuscany. During 2013 she has been a resident teacher and dancer in Zotto Tango Academy directed by Miguel Angel Zotto in Milan. Since 2015 she is a resident teacher in Escuela Mundial de Tango GE in Buenos Aires. In 2018 she built her own Tango Jewelry brand "Gisela Vidal". Since 2008 she has been performing and teaching in more than 32 countries all around the world. She speaks Spanish, English and Italian. ***************************************** ARIEL YANOVSKY DANCER AND TANGO TEACHER He is a recognised and acomplished Tango Dancer and Teacher born and raised in Buenos Aires. He began his Tango career in the year 1997. Ariel studied with internationally renowned teachers such as: Natalia Games and Gabriel Angió, Carlitos Perez, José "Lampazo" Vázquez, Nancy Louzan, Damián Essel and Horacio Godoy. He complemented his training with classes of Contemporary Dance, Theater, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Samba de Gafieira. He performes and teaches in dance studios, milongas and festivals around Argentina, Europe, South America, United States, Asia. and Oceania. He also participated in visual proposals on cinema like: "El Hombre que Baila" and "La suerte esta echada" and on TV like: "Road To Rio 2014". He danced for well known orchestras like "Tanghetto" and "Sexteto Milonguero" and took part in the video-clip of "The Gotan Project" and "Bajo Fondo". He also danced for the well- known Golden Age Tango singer Alberto Podesta.
