Tango and Mate · talks mate dance - March

In our first edition we managed to achieve everything we wanted: we shared how to make mate, had a very lively discussion about the tango embrace, and created a very nice and relaxed atmosphere for people to dance and enjoy! Let's meet again in a relaxed atmosphere to spend a wonderful afternoon of conversation and dance with delicious mate drink. With a special guest, we spend the first hour to discuss about a topic related to tango in a relaxed environment. Then our guest will guide us through a short practice session where we put into practice some aspect of the topics discussed and then the floor is open to dance! For our first edition our guest is Fernando Waisberg (AR) who will join Nadia for a conversation about the roles in tango. What does the leading role entail? Is the following only a passive role? Can the follower propose? How do we communicate from these two roles? These are some questions we will try to reflect upon together. The conversation will flow to different and perhaps unexpected directions as we all participate in it with comments, observations, experiences, jokes, questions. Price: Talk + guided practice 8e Practilonga: 8e Full pass: 13e About Fernando: Fernando Waisberg was born in Buenos Aires, where he initially embraced tango as a hobby. He holds a degree as a physical education teacher. For the past 12 years, Fernando has resided abroad, initially in Finland, where he taught and danced tango. His influence expanded to various European countries and Russia. Over the last six years in Asia, he continued sharing his expertise by teaching tango and performing in tango shows. During his time in Finland, Fernando pioneered tango therapy groups for students dealing with Parkinson's and brain stroke. Additionally, he was a founding member of the Finnish Dance Rehabilitation Association.
