Tango Baires Autumn Embrace Milonga

Tango Baires Warwick is very excited to be hosting this special second edition Autumn Milonga on the 12th of November 2022. There will be a pre-milonga class run by David Acunzo and Cintia Morea. Our Dj for the evening will be Juan de Scarfo who will play mainly traditional tango music and some tandas from currently trending orchestras in Argentina. 19:00-20:00: Class 20:00- 00:00: Milonga Milonga £12 Class £10 Milonga+class £20 Discount available for students. About the teachers: After training as a ballet dancer, Cintia started dancing tango when she was 13 years old. She learnt and perfected this dance attending different classes and seminars by renowned tango teachers from Argentina. Since 2017 she has been teaching for the Argentine tango society at Warwick University. David has been dancing and studying tango for 15 years. He attended numerous workshops, festivals and milongas across the world. He is now sharing his passion for tango in Bearwood where he hosts weekly classes and a practicas. David and Cintia have been teaching together in the UK since 2022. They share a very similar tango style and focus not only on specific steps and sequences but also in developing a good connection between partners whilst following the music and having fun. There will be no COVID restrictions at present but it is advisable not to attend the event if you have been suffering from COVID symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed case.
