Tango Baires Warwick- Autumn Embrace Milonga

Tango Baires Warwick is very excited to be hosting this special Autumn Embrace Milonga on the 11th of November 2023. We will start with a pre-milonga class run by Davide Baldanza & Cintia Morea from the Midlands Tango Academy. The class will be about exploring barridas and it's variations. The class is not suitable for absolute beginners Our Dj for the evening will be Juan de Scarfo who will play mainly traditional tango music and some tandas from currently trending orchestras in Argentina. 7-8pm: pre-Milonga Class. 8-11:30pm: Milonga Prices: Milonga £12 Class £10 Milonga+class £20 Discount available for students. About our teachers: Davide Baldanza, a professional Argentine Tango dancer, who has run regular courses and topic oriented workshops and seminars in Milan, Naples, Sofia and Thessaloniki as well as performed on stage in a series of Tango shows. Davide is now resident in London where he holds his regular lessons and where he has created tango scenario workshops and the video clip Trasnochando, for the “El Cachivache” orchestra. Cintia Morea was born in Argentina and initially trained as a ballet dancer before falling in love with Tango. She was trained by renowned Tango instructors from Argentina while she perfected the dance. Since 2017 Cintia has taught at Warwick University and participates in multiple events in the Warwickshire area. Cintia and Davide are cofounders of the Midlands Tango Academy where they teach regular classes, seminars and organise many other tango events in the area.
