Tango Café Anniversary Party

We are one year old - hurray! Let's gather and celebrate this important milestone with warm hugs and beautiful tandas! And there will be cake and raffle 🎂🥳 We are very happy to have Ivan Arandia with us to teach the class and DJ for the second half of the milonga 💃🎧 --- Programme Class with Ivan (intermediate) 3-4pm, £15, including entry to the milonga. This will be a fun class focussed on milonga Milonga 4-8pm, DJs Ivan and Katerina, £12. ---- Food and drink The cafe is open on Saturdays until 5pm and you can buy food and (non-alcoholic) drinks. We will provide water for the duration. We are keen on reducing waste so would really appreciate if you can bring your own water bottle, which can be refilled at the venue (we have single use cups too but hoping not to use many). If you are after a pre or post milonga meal, you will be spoiled for choice with a fine selection of bars and restaurants on both Battersea Rise and Northcote Road. --- Travel Clapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue. If you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone and outside ULEZ (but the ULEZ starts immediately north of it so take care). Parking is pay and display until 5:30 and free afterwards (or free all day if you are prepared to walk 10 mins to the adjacent parking zones - please see separate pinned post on parking with an annotated map).
