Tango Café March 2026 - Anniversary Edition

Tango Café is turning 9 years this month and you are invited to celebrate with us on Saturday, 21st March! We will start the night with a beginner-/intermediate-level workshop by our amazing class teachers Lucía and Louis. After sharing a delicious meal, we take to the dance floor to the tunes of TDJ Lucía. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 In Argentine Tango, not everything goes according to plan — and that’s exactly where the magic lives. This workshop explores the Cross System, the hidden layer of Tango that appears when one of the dancers takes an extra step. You will discover unusual ways to enter it, tools to adapt when it catches you off guard, and the subtle art of two-way communication — where the follower can propose and the leader can receive. We will develop our body awareness through specific exercises and work with movements like walks, ochos, and rebotes. This evening we also have our Potluck Community Dinner, in which we bring some food to share with each other.
