Tango Café - milonga and chacarera class with Los Ocampo

We are super excited to have the amazing Monica and Omar (Los Ocampo) back with us this Saturday - and we are going to have a chacarera class! The beautiful Argentinian folklore dance, the chacarera, is played regularly at some milongas and many weekend events and no-one teachers chacarera like Los Ocampo - they really are the best! They make it fun and very accessible, so whether you are completely new to chacarera, or want to refresh your skills, we are sure that you will get a lot out of this class! --- Programme Chacarera class with Los Ocampo (intermediate) 3:00-4:00pm, £15, including entry to the milonga. Milonga 4:00-8:00 pm, DJ Katerina, £12. ---- Food and drink The cafe is open on Saturdays until 5pm. There is a great choice of bars and restaurants in the immediate areas so easy to plan pre/ post drinks or meal. --- Travel Clapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue. If you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone. Parking is pay and display until 5:30 and free afterwards (or free all day if you are prepared to walk 10 mins to the adjacent parking zones - please see separate pinned post on parking with an annotated map). --- We really look forward to welcoming you!
