Tango Café - milonga and class with Elizabeth and Michele

We are delighted to welcome Elizabeth back this Saturday and, with Luis being away, she will be teaching with Michele Scarlino (more about Michele below - but we like the three Cs!). And... it will be a MILONGA class, so the fun is guaranteed! --- Programme Class with Elizabeth and Michele (intermediate) 3:00-4:00pm, £15, including entry to the milonga. Milonga 4:00-8:00 pm, DJ Katerina, £12. ---- Travel Clapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue. If you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone. Parking is pay and display until 5:30 and free afterwards (or free all day if you are prepared to walk 10 mins to the adjacent parking zones - please see separate pinned post on parking with an annotated map --- About Michele Michele Scarlino is from Italy and lives in London. He has been dancing since 2008, studying primarily with Luis Rodriguez. He has spent extended periods in Buenos Aires, where he deepened his love for the traditional aspects of tango and took classes with a wide range of teachers. He has taught in Italy with Francesca Mergoni and Yalet Suarez (former European Tango Salon Champion), and in London he was resident teacher at Carablanca Tango Club with Ewa Zbreska, also collaborating with Tango Space. Michele teaches with a focus on the three C's: Caminar (walking), Conexion (the depth of the embrace), and Compas (the pulse of the music). For him, tango isn't about getting from A to B - it's about everything that happens between, while listening to the music and to your partner.
