Together, they bring a unique blend of diverse influences, technical mastery, and artistic passion to every performance and workshop. Silvina’s journey began with a foundation in rhythmic gymnastics, swimming, hip-hop, ballet, and modern dance, which cultivated her precision, creativity, and adaptability. After discovering her love for Argentine tango in 2009, she devoted herself entirely to mastering the dance, training with world-class teachers in Italy and Argentina. Her civil engineering background informs her structured and detail-oriented approach, while her artistic sensibilities bring grace and expressivity to her dance. Julio’s roots in Havana, where he was immersed in Afro-Cuban rhythms and music, shaped his unique connection to movement and sound. His passion for tango led him from Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires, where he trained with esteemed masters and honed his craft. With his deep understanding of music, bolstered by studies in piano and bandoneón, Julio developed a groundbreaking approach to teaching tango musicality that merges his Cuban heritage with traditional tango techniques. As a couple, Silvina and Julio complement each other perfectly, merging their rich backgrounds into a seamless partnership. Their dance is marked by expressive interpretations, intricate musicality, and a profound connection that captivates audiences around the world. Their teaching approach is rooted in fostering individuality and artistry, helping students develop a solid foundation while exploring their personal style. Based in Italy, the duo regularly teaches in Bologna, where they lead classes and workshops, while continuing to inspire and connect with tango communities globally through performances, seminars, and innovative projects.
