Tango Café - milonga and class with Oscar and Daniela

Super line-up this Saturday at Tango Café :) We have special teachers from Buenos Airies, Oscar Colo Milonguero Garcia and Daniela Severo visiting us on their European Tour, who will teach the pre-milonga class. They will also perform for us during the milonga. More about them below but they came highly recommended and we can't wait to welcome them. And an old Tango Café friend, Orlando Faciano, who many of you met last year, is returning to spend the afternoon with us and he will DJ for the second half of the milonga! --- Programme Class with Oscar and Daniela (intermediate) 3:00-4:00pm, £15, including entry to the milonga. Milonga 4:00-8:00 pm, DJs Orlando and Katerina, £12. ---- About Oscar and Daniela Oscar is a central figure in tango in BsAs, has a deep knowledge of tango and runs the prestigious La Cachila Milonga at Nuevo Gricel and previously many other venues. Dani trained in the National School of Dance and has the title of National Dance Teacher at the Jorge Donn National School of Dance. They were semi finalists in Campeonato de Tango de la Cuidad and Mundial de Tango 2023 and winners in Tango Int Festival Cordoba 2023. They teach at various venues in BsAs including Gricel, El Beso and Villa Malcolm. They have a nice relaxed style of teaching and are a great couple to work with. Food and drink The cafe is open on Saturdays until 5pm. There is a great choice of bars and restaurants in the immediate areas so easy to plan pre/ post drinks or meal. --- Travel Clapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue. If you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone. Parking is pay and display until 5:30 and free afterwards (or free all day if you are prepared to walk 10 mins to the adjacent parking zones - please see separate pinned post on parking with an annotated map). --- We really look forward to welcoming you
