Tango Café - milonga and class with Roxane and Giuliano

Super excited to have Roxane Camargo and Giuliano Calvimonte for the first time at Tango Café this Saturday 🙂 More about them below but they come highly recommended and we can't wait to welcome them. They will teach a class on "Barridas"and "enrrosques" with different dynamics". --- Programme Class with Roxane and Giuliano (intermediate) 3:00-4:00pm, £15, including entry to the milonga. Milonga 4:00-8:00 pm, DJ Katerina, £12. ---- About Roxane and Giuliano ROXANE CAMARGO Teacher, dancer, choreographer of Argentine Tango, with more than 27 years of experience. Organizer of Juernes Milonga at the Palacio Barolo in Buenos Aires. Choreographer director at Señor Tango, the most important Tango show in Argentina. In 2023 she was one of the organizers of the Queer Tango Festival, Pool Tango Party and Diva Milonga. Postgraduate in dance from (Pontificia Universidade Católica do Río Grande Do Sul). Brazilian Stage Tango Champion 2019. She is currently a teacher at London Tango Academy, dancer and Coordinator of the Tango Show at "Gaucho" in London. GIULIANO CALVIMONTE He started with Argentine folklore and has been a tango dancer, teacher and choreographer for 20 years. He has danced in the most important shows in Buenos Aires, Madero Tango, Señor Tango, Complejo Tango, he was also part of Hugh Laurie's show at the Gran Rex among others. Organizer of the Turbia Milonga in Buenos Aires. He is currently a teacher at the London Tango Academy and a dancer at the Gaucho Show in London. --- Food and drink The cafe is open on Saturdays until 5pm. There is a great choice of bars and restaurants in the immediate areas so easy to plan pre/ post drinks or meal. --- Travel Clapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue. If you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone. Parking is pay and display until 5:30 and free afterwards (or free all day if you are prepared to walk 10 mins to the adjacent parking zones - please see separate pinned post on parking with an annotated map). --- We really look forward to welcoming you
