Tango Café - milonga and práctica

Looking forward to welcoming you again at Tango Café on 18th June for another lovely afternoon of tango. We will have a practica instead of the usual class 3-4m on this occasion - there will be no extra charge for that so take the opportunity to come and practice whatever you are working on on our beautiful floor! --- Programme Practica 3-4pm, included in the price of the milonga (£5 if you are only attending the practica) Milonga 4-8pm, £10. ---- Lovely hall with a very nice wood floor and a cafe with extra seating Great traditional tango tunes A very warm welcome from your hosts Alan and Katerina --- Covid precautions Please don’t come if you have cold / possible covid symptoms. --- Food and drink The cafe is open until 6pm and offers coffee (!), a range of soft and hot drinks, cakes from a local baker and light meals. We will of course provide water for the duration. We are keen on reducing waste so would really appreciate if you can bring your own water bottle, which can be refilled at the venue (we'll have backup but hoping not to use it much!) If you are after a pre or post milonga meal, you will be spoiled for choice with a fine selection of bars and restaurants on both Battersea Rise and Northcote Road. --- Travel Clapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue. If you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone and outside ULEZ (but the ULEZ starts immediately north of it so take care). Parking is pay and display until 5:30 and free afterwards (or free all day if you are prepared to walk 10 mins to the adjacent parking zones - please see separate pinned post on parking with an annotated map).
