Tango Café - milonga and práctica

Looking forward to welcoming you again at Tango Café on 26th June for another lovely afternoon of tango. Please note that this is, by exception, a Sunday rather than a Saturday - hope you can still make it! Like last week, we will have a práctica instead of the usual class 3-4pm at no extra charge - take the opportunity to come and practice whatever you are working on on our beautiful floor before the milonga starts at 4pm. And, as an extra treat, we have two DJs this week - Katerina for the práctica and the first half of the milonga, with Ivan taking over to take us to the grand finale! We think that this will be a lot of fun! Aircon will be on and so will be our three new powerful fans so it should be cool and breezy! --- Programme Practica 3-4pm, included in the price of the milonga (£5 if you are only attending the practica) Milonga 4-8pm, £10. ---- Covid precautions Please don’t come if you have cold / possible covid symptoms. --- Food and drink The cafe will not be open on Sunday. We will provide water and refreshments. We are keen on reducing waste so would really appreciate if you can bring your own water bottle, which can be refilled at the venue (we'll have backup but hoping not to use it much!) If you are after a pre or post milonga meal, you will be spoiled for choice with a fine selection of bars and restaurants on both Battersea Rise and Northcote Road. --- Travel Clapham Junction is an easy 5-minute walk away. Take the St John’s Hill exit. Lots of bus routes too, including some stopping outside the venue. If you drive, the venue is outside the congestion charge zone and outside ULEZ (but the ULEZ starts immediately north of it so take care). Parking is free on Sunday).
