The incredible Jory and Lorena will join us for the autumn edition of Tango Café! Before the milonga, we are going to have two workshops by them, the first one on improvisation and the second one on musicality and ornaments. 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱 1 – 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘜𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 (𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦) Tango is not a choreography — it’s a conversation. During this workshop we’ll explore how to create movement in the moment, by listening to our partner and the music. Breaking your boundaries and creating a new repertoire with steps you already know to surprise your partner and yourself. 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱 2 – 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 & 𝘖𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 (𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘥) Ornaments are not tricks — just like musicality, they are punctuation marks in your dance. Learn when to whisper, when to shout, and when to say nothing at all. After the workshops, we will share a meal together. Last but not least, we will dance the night away on tandas by TDJ Armin, enriched by an amazing show by Jory and Lorena.
