Tango classes with guest teacher Astrid Weiske

On Wednesday, April 30th, we welcome tango teacher Astrid Weiske from Germany! Astrid is a highly experienced tango teacher and the organizer of Queertango Berlin. Join us for the beginner class or intermediate class! These classes are taught as “leaders” and “followers” and are inclusive to folks of all genders, non-binary & LGBTQ+. 7:00-8:00 pm beginner class 8:00-8:30 pm practica 8:30-9:30 pm intermediate class 9:00-10:00 pm practica $25 beginner class $25 intermediate class $40 both classes $15 student with ID We accept cash and venmo at the door The practicas are included with the classes. We encourage students from both classes to dance together during the 8:00-8:30 practica. We recommend six months' experience to join the intermediate class. Class on April 30th is held in the drawing room, which has a tile floor. Astrid's trip is sponsored by Abrazo Queer Tango in Berkeley. Although she is only teaching for one date at La Bruja, you can also catch her at Abrazo on Sunday afternoons, or book a private lesson. La Bruja Tango hosts tango classes almost every Wednesday at the Berkeley City Club. We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St.
