Argentinian Tango is an interpretive, improvisational social dance that allows the dancers to develop a deep connection between themselves, the music, and the environment in which they are dancing. Bangalore Tango Academy is starting a new batch of Argentine Tango Dancing classes for complete beginners. It is the perfect time to start learning with us. Registration is on First Come First Serve Basis. Please register with us as soon as possible. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start Date: 4th August. Duration: 3 months. Beginners Batch (no previous experience of dance required): 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm Intermediate Batch (minimum 3 months Tango experience): 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Higher Intermediate Batch (minimum 6 months Tango experience): 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Bringing a dance partner is NOT compulsory but recommended. * Wear comfortable cloths. * Bring a pair of socks or smooth soled shoes for dancing. * No Age limit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About the Instructor: Roopa has been dancing Argentinian Tango for 8 years. She began teaching Tango at Bangalore Tango Academy after extensively dancing tango in India and around the world. She has travelled to Buenos Aires, root of Argentine Tango, twice, to perfect the art form. Her main focus in tango is technique. Other than Tango, Roopa has over 15 years of Salsa dancing experience. She is also trained in Indian Classical Dance: Bharatnatyam.
