Tango E14 Crystal Anniversary Milonga

Hola Tangueros y Amigos, Hi Everyone, Saturday 29th June 2024 at 1pm, to celebrate over 15 years of Tango E14 helping dancers to discover, understand and develop their Argentine Tango skills we, Tony and Anita, with support of Los Ocampo (Monica and Omar), and Martin Espindola, Stewart Maclenahan and Patrick from Tango Terra are having a TANGO PARTY. We have even extended the time for an hour until 6pm. Please make a point of coming early to take full advantage of the class of our special guest teachers. Approximated Timetable: DOORS OPEN 12.40pm 1 - 2pm Los Ocampo class on Playful Rhythms in Tango. 2 - 2.20pm A quick revision to ‘Chacarera, with Los Ocampo. 2.20 - 2.35 Dancing Chacareras. 2.45 - 3.30 Live Tango music from Martin Espindola (bandoneon+ singing) Stewart Maclenahan (keys) and Patrick (violin) from Tango Terra. 3.30 - 6.00pm Our DJ Andy Warner plays his, mostly Golden Age tango for us. The entry today has to be increased to £20 for all or part of the afternoon. As usual, we also invite you to make any modest food contribution to our snack table, such as fruit, cakes or biscuits. We will provide tea and coffee as usual. If anyone genuinely feels they are unable to afford £20, then they are welcome to discuss and negotiate a reduction with Tony. Today’s class is suitable for beginners and those more experienced dancers that appreciate refining the details and brushing up on technique. Of course Los Ocampo as lifetime Tangueros, show dancers and dancers of Argentine Folkloric dances, have an exceptionally broad knowledge in all this. So we all can benefit by participating and learning from them. Please come on early at 12.40pm for a 1pm start to get and give yourself the most benefit.
