We are very excited to be hosting a Special Workshop with Laísa Sousa & Franco Cespi. You Know Laísa very well as she's been our visitor-resident teacher for many years. Her fine technique, contemporary pedagogic approach and amazing dancing skills make her a referent for London dancers. This time she is bringing a young Argentinean talent, Franco Cespi*, to introduce him to the London Tango Scene. He is part of a vibrant new generation of tango artists. Come to meet him and work with top level teachers and dancers. Overviewing fundamental concepts of musicality and how to adapt tango structures and figures. Drop in (please contact us telling you are coming so as to help us balancing the roles ) Price: £20( individual) £36 (couples) *Franco is a dynamic tango artist from Buenos Aires, raised in a world of dance alongside his mother, Veronica Alvarenga. Inspired by legendary milongueros and tango innovators, Franco developed his unique style with influences from Federico Naveira, Olga Besio, and others, while training in contemporary and classical dance. After six years promoting tango in Turkey through teaching, organizing events, and DJing, Franco now brings his passion for inclusivity, dancing both roles with partners of all genders, to every community he joins.
