Adornments in the Ocho Cortado – clever variations, timing and decoration within the cut-eight pattern. Adornments in the Parada (stop) – how to pause with presence, insert adornments and resume with connection. 💃 Why this is for you: Build confidence in using adornments in a social context (not just for show). Learn how to decorate your movement while respecting your partner, musical phrasing and floorcraft. Her dance career began in classical ballet — she trained at the Tallinn Ballet School and performed at the Estonian National Opera, developing the grace, discipline, and stage presence that now define her tango style. Maria’s tango journey began with Tango Escenario, where she was drawn to its expressive power and theatrical elegance. Her greatest passion is also Tango Barre — a discipline she continues to develop with creativity, dedication, and deep love for movement. She has taught and organised numerous tango events in Estonia and England, building a community that celebrates elegance, connection, and feminine strength through movement. Maria continues to evolve her artistry under the guidance of world-renowned tango masters including Maxim Gerasimov, Alejandra Gutty, Pancho Martinez Pey, Tomas Corbalan, Ezequiel Lopez, Camila Alegre, Olga Nikolaeva, Anna Gudyno, and Raquel Greenberg. Through TANGO FEMME, Maria inspires women to explore the power of femininity, confidence, and self-expression — both on and off the dance floor.
