Tango for Beginners Tango för Nybörjare June 8 - 9, 2013

- When did you last listen to a song, look at a boy, and go, I want to move with that boy to this song? - When did you last look at that gorgeous girl twirling like a dervish around the dance floor, and go, I wish I could move with her? You need to learn how to tango, and the Itscoldupnorthdancetango project is going to help you do just that. This project aims to give back and grow the Argentine tango community in 'lilla' Göteborg, Sweden by organizing weekend workshops for absolute beginners. I will be collaborating with Eva Lehrmann, a talented, young, and vivacious Danish tango dancer who lives in Buenos Aires for the June edition of the workshops. Tango for Beginners - Workshop A, June 8: 11.30 am - 2.45 pm Connection and Walking (Maximum 10 couples) Tango for Beginners - Workshop B, June 9: 11.30 am - 2.45 pm Basic tools to navigate the social dance floor (Maximum 10 couples) ***Some of you have requested for the registration deadline to be extended, so the deadline now is June 4, 2013*** Other important information: - Smell gorgeous, and bring your smiles along - Both of the workshops above are related to each other, and cost 750 SEK. - If you're a student, both of the workshops will cost 500 SEK - Unfortunately, it's not possible to attend a single workshops. - Mail registrations to [email protected] stating your name, partner's name (optional), and telephone number. - Registrations with a partner preferred, but not required. - Experience from other disciplines related to body awareness such as Yoga, Pilates, Swimming, Unicorn riding helpful, but not required. - Wear loose comfortable clothing and smooth soled shoes that slide easily on a wooden floor.
