She is an internationally recognized tango instructor holding an MFA in Dance from Arizona State University and training with Katy Bowman, biomechanist. With a 25 year tango career, she has taught more than 1000 students to dance throughout the US and Europe. In 2012 she was the sub-champion in the US Argentine Tango Salon Championships held annually in San Francisco. She has competed in more than 5 tango championships in the US and Argentina. She is 1 of 3 teachers in AZ holding an MFA in dance. She was also the only person to teach a for credit tango course at ASU for 10 years. She is honored to hold a certification to teach Maestra Graciela Gonzalez's method.
