Lovers of tango in all its forms , from the magic of the movement and the couple’s connection, up to the poetry of music. Dionisis and Chloe begun their collaboration in October 2011, Dionisis already being a professional in the field and the Greek Champion of Stage Tango ‘11, and Chloe coming from a career in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Together, they became Champions of Greece in Stage Tango ‘12 and, the year after, they were chosen to become members of the company “Tango Seducciόn”, of the renowned Argentine dancer and choreographer Gustavo Russo, with which they tour in Europe and Asia . They travel regularly in Greece and abroad, giving workshops and seminars and performing in milongas and theatre shows. Some of their long term collaborations with schools and associations in Greece and abroad are : F.E.X. (Xanthi -Greece ), Alma libre (Komotini-Greece), Vive Bailando (Kalamata, Greece) l’Accademia di Tango, Reggio Emilia (Italy), l’Aquila tango (Italy). Some of the most important tango festivals in which they have been invited as artists :TangoWorld Festival (Fivizzano-Italy ), Cyprus tango meeting (Cyprus), Nice Tango Festival (France), Stockholm Tango Festival (Sweden), Lebanon Tango Encuentro (Lebanon) , L’Aquila tango Festival (Italy) and more. For Dionisis and Chloe tango is not just a dance, it is a whole culture. As teachers, they consider very important the learning and practicing of technique in order to dance more efficiently but, above all, the connection between the couple and how this can lead to “creating” the movement , from its very basic form up to the most complex figures.
