Tango in the country - Westwood workshops with Eduardo Bozzo

We are delighted to welcome Eduardo Bozzo to Westwood. A true porteño from a Bueno Aires . From a tango family and professionally trained Eduardo is steeped Argentine tango. This a great opportunity to learn from a true porteño . These workahops will focus on technique for intermediates and are not role dependent . So you can sign up without a partner ! Price for the day is £30 Workshop 1 Perfect posture 12:00-1:30 pm This workshop will explore how we can use our posture to enhance our dance and how we can adapt our posture and our embrace to respond to different parts of the dance and different styles of music . We will explore dissociation and how to use this more effectively. Snack and chat ! Workshop 2 Differences of movement for rhythmic or melodic interpretation. 2:00-3:15 pm Building on the first workshop we will explore how to respond to the music . How do we use our technique to express changes in dynamic ? What does a melodic interpretation ask of us? What changes do we need to make if we focus on the rhythm ? Refreshments and practica And of course as it’s a Tango in the Country event, we have refreshments throughout and a chance to unwind chat and even dance some more in the practica afterwards.
