TANGO LESSON and MILONGA with DJ

Thursday, May 14th. Pablo Garcia Gomez and Iwona Ionescu are very popular and long-time instructors at Viva Tango and other tango events. After the lesson Pablo and Iwona will be available at the side of the dance floor to help any dancers wishing more assistance with the lesson. Tonight’s DJ Gerardo (De Monserrat) Razumney grew up listening to tango in his native Buenos Aires. Although his generation was mostly dancing rock and roll, the essence of tango became a part of him. Gerardo likes tango from all the decades, not just the Golden Era, but also la Guardia Vieja of the late 20’s and 30’s, as well as the more modern creations from the 50’s, 60’s and contemporary ones. 7:00 pm: Lesson with Pablo & Iwona. 8:15 pm: Milonga with DJ Gerardo (de Monserrat) Razumney.
