TANGO LESSON & MILONGA with DJ

Thursday, August 7th. Iakof Shonsky - Argentine tango maestro, founder of New York Tango Academy where he gives lessons on individual technique, couples technique, beginner and advanced lessons. These lessons take place at Kings Dance Studio in Brooklyn. He is a very popular instructor in New York and is often invited to teach at various milongas and tango festivals. Iakof is the organizer of La Bohema milonga which runs every first Friday. He comes from the Republic of Georgia where dance is integral part of national culture. Iakof is also an experienced tango DJ and will delight us with his well-crafted music selections tonight. 7:00 pm: Lesson with Iakof Shonsky. 8:15 pm: Milonga with DJ Iakof Shonsky. Admission: $20.
