Tango Mio - Color Me Tango

It's going to be a grand Tango Tuesday at Tango Mio. Join some of the best dancers in LA as we explore a colorful spectrum of what traditional Argentine Tango has to offer. The night starts at 8PM with a class with maestros Gimena Tomas teaching the pre-milonga class to help demystify elusive techniques that aren't captures with your everyday class figures. At 9, from Uruguay, DJ Graciela Pérez will be spinning her selection of festival level golden aged tandas. Recommended by the lovely Maria Elena Lopez Cattini, you know her praises don't come lightly. Then around 11, local Lauren Woods teams up with Argentine rising star Martin Almiron Tango to give you a taste of what's in store of their classes around town. The first 2 tandas of the night will only be two songs long as a mixer.
