About this Event
Reading for tango students about 4 great orchestras played on the dance floor.
Why the orchestras of Juan d'Arienzo, Osvaldo Pugliese, Anibal Troilo and Carlos di Sarli, were, and still are 'The Big Four' -most important orquestras in tango.
In this seminar we will explore some personal, aesthetic, musical and historical aspects that made them part of this select group.
Mariano will explain and identify fundamental musical and expressive elements that are used to create their unique and specific style.
With plenty of examples to illustrate their distinctive sound and some hints of how to apply this in your dance.
You will also learn about the history of these musical companies and their historical context.
After the reading you will be able to recognise the fundamental aspects of the fascinating 'Big Four'.
A must-do for everyone joining the dancefloor!
