Tango Retreat with Pablo & Sofia

Join us for an all-inclusive 2-day retreat, limited to 10 couples! Lodging, food, and transportation to and from Virginia included. This event is meant to give us time to not only dive deep into our tango but also take a moment to take care of our bodies, mind, and soul while spending quality time with friends. The agenda includes three 2hr workshops, group yoga, individual 30 min Thai massage sessions, and time to explore this beautiful space. There will also be an opportunity for each couple to demo what they've learned and get feedback. The price for the entire retreat is $450 per person. Check-in is Sunday, June 18 @ 4pm Check-out is Tuesday, June 20 @ 11am ------------------------------- Sunday ------------------------------- 12 PM Carpools leave for the lodge (James Creek, PA) 4 PM Check-in 5 PM Evening yoga with Catrinel 6 PM Workshop 1 - Mechanics of the Connection. We will explore the responsibilities of each role and how to establish and maintain connection with our partners 8 PM Dinner ------------------------------- Monday ------------------------------- 9 AM Morning yoga with Catrinel 10 AM Breakfast 11 AM Workshop 2 - Dancing with each other. We will dive deep into expanding our quality of movement. 1 PM Break (use this time to take your Thai massage session, go for a nature excursion, or have some personal time) 3 PM Lunch and Learn with Pablo & Sofia 5 PM Workshop 3 - Dancing for each other. We will explore tactical methods for leaders to not only listen to their partners but also incorproate their partner's voice into the dance. Conversely, we will dive into how followers can express their voice in the music. 7 PM Break (use this time to take your Thai massage session, go for a nature excursion, or have some personal time) 8 PM Dinner, smores, and more! ------------------------------- Tuesday ------------------------------- 9 AM Breakfast & Demo (informal feedback session where each couple dances 1 song to express what resonated with them most and the group can give feedback) 11 AM Check-out 12 PM Carpools leave for DC/Virginia 7:30-10:30 PM The Tango Club Practica - The topic is exploring the world of sacadas!
