Workshops and Milonga with performance by Haris and Natasha. I am delighted to host my friends and maestros Haris and Natasha for their first visit to Birmingham! And to invite you to this warm, friendly and welcoming event. There will be two workshops followed by a milonga with a performance by this lovely couple. Venue Walker Memorial Hall 18 Ampton Road Edgbaston Birmingham B15 2UJ Einat will be bringing her collection of fabulous shoes by Balanceo and tango clothes. So ladies be ready to be tempted! TDJ Ann Nunn Workshop 1 16.00 - 17.30 Milonga. Rebounds, turns and changes of direction in parallel system. Workshop 2 17.45 - 19.15 Tango. Milonguero turns in close embrace with sacadas. Work with the axes and connection with the floor. Milonga 20.00 - Midnight Advance booking and payment required for the workshops as they will be gender balanced. Not suitable for absolute beginners, some experience necessary. Cost 1 workshop £25 2 workshops £45 Milonga £15 Complete package £60 Natasha and Haris have been teaching and performing at Festivals, Championships and events in Europe, Asia and America. They are internationally recognized for their connection, elegance, dynamics and musicality. They are great teachers with an infectious love and enjoyment of tango which they demonstrate during classes and their performances. Refreshments will be available during the milonga, but BYO is welcome. There ia ample parking in the carpark behind the hall or on the street . The venue is outside of the Birmingham Clean Air Zone.
