Taking advantage of the benefits of living in Istanbul, they regularly receive training from maestros who come from BsAs, Uruguay, Columbia etc. And because they believe that development never ends, they always prioritize updating their knowledge. They began their teaching careers in 2016 and have continued this work for the past two years at their own school, Noble Tango, Istanbul. They have introduced hundreds of people to tango. They place great importance on training social tango dancers, but also train competitive dancers, performers and tango DJs. https://www.facebook.com/onurbegumtango *Tdj Taner Börekçi My musical journey began at the age of seven with classical guitar. During my high school years, this journey continued with rock drums, and the connection I built with rhythm gradually deepened. My encounter with tango opened a new door in my musical path. While I have been dancing as a social dancer for many years, I am also actively involved in a dance community where I share my experiences. My journey as a tango DJ started after my basic training, when—under the guidance of my teachers—I began playing tandas that I had prepared in my own milongas. Over time, invitations from different milongas and tango weekend events gave me the opportunity to present my selections to wider audiences. The feedback I received from dancers encouraged me to pursue further education in this field and to deepen my musical understanding. Today, I continue to study the musical structures of tango orchestras and carry on with my research. I usually create my sets by listening to the atmosphere in the room at that moment—the energy of those dancing and those sitting, as well as the spirit of the venue. For this reason, even I often do not know in advance which orchestra will come next. While I manage the flow of music from the DJ booth, I also admire the DJs who dance on the floor at the same time.
