🌟 TANGO WEEKEND WITH LUCILA PREGO (9- 10 September)🌟 Lucila Prego is now a very dear teacher here in Göteborg, and we finally have her back in Gothenburg in September for another weekend packed with tango learning with this amazing maestra. We have all learned so much from her, and we look forward to learn more. Lucila brings within her the flame of Argentine tango, and not only: she is a trained tango pedagogue and dancer at the University of Buenos Aires (the university of tango), and a finalist at the tango world championship in 2021, as well as winning competitions in Italy. She is one of those teachers capable of unlocking those very sought-after "a-ha" moments through her skills and humble approach, as well as her sharp technique. Tango needs to be built on a solid base, otherwise everything else will be shaky. We will discover how we can create different dynamics, colors and co-create with your partner musical games together within linear dynamics and caminata. 🔸 WS 2 Rhythmical dynamics (all levels) Saturday 9 September 14.00 - 15.30 Lundenhallen (Kärralundsgatan 3, 416 56) / upper floor Do you feel your dancing doesn't have many colours and dynamics when it comes to rythmical structures? In this ws, we will not only learn new sequences, but we will go deep into the heart of how to give unique colors and personalities in what we do, finding our own personal expression. 🔸 SEMINAR: Advanced seminar (Reduced group) Sunday 10 September 13.00 - 17.00 Viktoriahuset (Linnegatan 21) This seminar, that will be taught to a reduced group, will touch open the quality of the giros, position of the body for more powerful and dynamic giros and more. It is recommended to have years of consistent tango learning and social dancing experience before attending the seminar. LUCILA'S BIO: Lucila Prego, born in Buenos Aires, is a dancer, choreographer and teacher of argentine tango. She began her studies at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (Argentina) obtaining the title of Interpreter in Tango and Lic. in Folklore. In addition, she has collaborated with renowned maestros of Buenos Aires in both salon and tango escenario. She has extensive training in other disciplines like classical dance, contemporary dance, pilates and theater. Tango is her passion, her job and her way of life.
