About this Event

Tango Women's Circle - Live Online Wednesdays, April 15, 22, 29 and May 6 | 6:30-7:45pm EST Live Online via Zoom Facilitated by Veronika Kruta [A Container for Women Navigating Tango, Themselves, and Community] Tango is not only how we dance. It’s how we navigate invitation and choice, respond to rejection, negotiate closeness, express our femininity, use our voice, and take up space within a shared social environment. On the dance floor, patterns around visibility, desire, comparison, confidence, insecurity, and our relationship to femininity often rise to the surface. Yet these dynamics rarely begin there — they reflect deeper relational patterns many of us carry into our lives, our communities, and our sense of self. Tango Women’s Circle is a facilitated container where women can explore these experiences together with curiosity and compassion. Through guided reflection, somatic awareness, and intentional conversation, the sessions offer an opportunity to gently explore how tango mirrors our relational patterns — and how we might move through them with greater clarity, confidence, and embodied presence. Each session is intentionally led, thoughtfully paced, and carefully supported. Across four weeks, we explore the full spectrum of experiences many women encounter in tango and in life, including: - Nervous system safety and belonging - Saying no and honoring preference - Using your voice in partnership - Desire, magnetism, and being chosen - Initiation vs waiting - Boundaries in embrace and beyond - Body image, aging, and visibility - Comparison, insecurity, and confidence - Feminine presence and embodied power - Stability, grounding, and how we take up space This is both guided process and shared inquiry. The structure provides clarity and direction; the conversation brings depth. Much of the magic emerges in hearing one another’s stories — women of different backgrounds, ages, and tango journeys recognizing shared patterns and discovering new perspectives. You will leave with greater awareness of your relational habits, clearer internal alignment, and practical shifts in how you move — emotionally and physically — through tango spaces and your wider life.
