Tangoesque: Live music w Ciao Felicia! Please note slight schedule change

We have a very special treat is store for both our Alt AND Traditional tango dancers. On this evening we will have OmCulture set up bistro style (think Tango Showcase) with bistro tables near surrounding the dance space and Live Music on the main stage with Ciao Felicia. We will have our usual assortment of lovely snacks and an open wine bar. Music will be 50/50 Alt and Traditional. Ciao Felicia is a Portland band featuring local cellist Zacarias Grynberg. Specializing in Argentine tango, Ciao Felicia is known for connecting dancers and listeners with the music and with each other through high-energy performances that bring the heat to milongas, concerts, and community. The band will be preceded by a short ice-breaker class with the one and only Michelle Badion. Michelle will teach a 'cool move' that culminates with a Rueda style switching of partners - so much fun! Between set with Ciao Felicia, we have one of Seattle's most prolific DJs, Loelle Lim, to fill the space with fabulous tunes, both Alternative and Traditional. Loelle will also finish out the evening with another full hour of DJd music. Important Announcement! Maestras Corina and Ines will be teaching a 75 minute class at DANCE UNDERGROUND (not at OmCulture as originally planned) from 7:00 to 8:15. Cost of dance is $30 and will be collected as you enter for the dance. Cost includes class with Michelle, Live Music, DJ music, snacks and wine.
