TANGOWEEKEND AAN ZEE met Sebástian Pereyra & Danielle Riegel (English below) Tango, zon, ontspanning, lekker eten, nieuwe ontmoetingen en veel plezier op een heerlijke plek aan zee! Van 19 t/m 21 augustus geven Sebastián Pereyra & Danielle Riegel een tangoweekend op een prachtige locatie aan de Noord-Hollandse kust. We zijn te gast bij Strandhotel Camperduin in Schoorl: de ideale plek voor een ontspannen en inspirerende tangovakantie! Het Strandhotel staat in het groen, aan de rand van het mooiste duingebied van Nederland. Je kunt er heerlijk wandelen en fietsen, en natuurlijk genieten van strand en zee dichtbij. Een paar honderd meter verderop staat Strandpaviljoen Camperduin. Met een eigen ingang via de duinen hebben we in deze exclusieve evenementen ruimte de beschikking over een eigen duinterras en strandterras met uitzicht op zee. Hier zullen we dineren op vrijdagavond en kan de lunch (voor eigen rekening) genuttigd worden. In de zeezaal zullen de tangolessen op vrijdagavond en zondag plaatsvinden. Op zaterdag zijn we te gast in een mooie zaal in het Strandhotel. PROGRAMMA Het lange weekend begint op vrijdagmiddag 19 augustus en duurt t/m zondagmiddag 21 augustus. In totaal zijn er 10 workshops, op 2 niveau’s: Tango Fundamentals en Advanced Concepts. Je bent vrij om beide niveau’s te volgen of slechts 1 niveau. Op vrijdagavond en zondagmiddag is er een dans- en oefenavond en op zaterdagavond een salon. Zaterdagmiddag is er tijd om lekker te wandelen, fietsen of aan het strand te liggen. Fietsen zijn te huur bij het Strandhotel We verwachten de deelnemers op vrijdagmiddag tussen 15.00 en 16.00 uur, waarbij koffie en thee klaar staan. Om 16.00 uur begint dan de eerste workshop. Op zondagmiddag is er nog een practica om rustig in eigen tempo het in het weekend geleerde verder te oefenen. Op zaterdagmiddag is er tevens de mogelijkheid om tegen een gereduceerde vergoeding (korte) privélessen te nemen. We geven les op 2 niveau’s; Tango fundamentals en Advanced concepts. In de Tango fundamentals workshops zullen we ons vooral bezig houden met houding en bewegingstechniek, danscontact, dansprincipes en structuren. In de Advanced Concepts workshops zal de nadruk meer liggen op (langere) sequenties, improvisatie, expressie en muzikaliteit. In alle lessen besteden we veel aandacht aan ieders individuele proces. De lessen zijn zo opgebouwd dat er voor de verschillende niveaus specifieke uitdagingen en oefeningen kunnen worden gecreëerd binnen de diverse concepten en technieken die worden behandeld. In de middag is er ruimte om een (korte) privéles te volgen tegen een kleine vergoeding. DE LOCATIE Strandhotel Camperduin Vanwege de mooie locatie, de prachtige omgeving, de gastvrije sfeer en de zee op loopafstand is dit de ideale plek voor een ontspannen en inspirerende tangovakantie! Geniet van de unieke natuurviersprong waarin Strandhotel Camperduin verborgen ligt. Wandel of fiets door de duinen, langs het strand, over de dijk of in de polder. Overnacht midden in de natuur en word vol verwondering wakker bij de aanblik van het prachtige polder- en duinlandschap. Open uw ramen en u zit er midden in! Kortom een unieke plek met rust en ruimte. Alle kamers, zowel aan de polder- als duinzijde, beschikken over een toilet, douche en/of bad, televisie, telefoon (met wek systeem), draadloos internet en koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Daarnaast zijn de kamers uitgerust met een terrasje of een ‘Frans’ balkon. De kamers zijn vanaf 22 m2 incl. badkamer en exclusief eventueel terras. Hotelkamers met zicht op polder: aan de polderzijde kijkt u vanaf uw kamer uit over de polder achter de Hondsbossche Zeewering. U heeft een weids uitzicht over het prachtige vogelreservaat ‘De Putten’. Een gebied wat voor een deel in beheer is bij Natuurmonumenten. Hotelkamer met zicht op de duinen: vanaf de duinzijde van het hotel heeft u zicht op het Schoorlse duingebied. Wanneer u op uw kamer het raam opent, hoort en ruikt u de zee. Voor tangodansers met kinderen is er de mogelijkheid om een appartement te huren. Indien gewenst kunnen wij ook bemiddelen bij kinderopvang. Het ontbijt wordt elke ochtend geserveerd in het ontbijtrestaurant met terras dat grenst direct aan de duinen. Uw ontbijt wordt bij u aan tafel geserveerd. Bij mooi weer bieden wij u ook de mogelijkheid om buiten op het terras te ontbijten. Het ontbijt is samengesteld met natuurlijke producten uit de streek, Europa en de rest van de wereld. In de duinzaal van het hotel zullen de groepslessen en de tangosalon op zaterdag plaatsvinden. DE LOCATIE Strandpaviljoen Camperduin Op 150 meter lopen vanaf het Strandhotel ligt Strandpaviljoen STRUIN: een prachtige evenementenlocatie met uitzicht op zee en heerlijk restaurant. Direct naast het restaurant ligt de Zeezaal. Met een eigen ingang via de duinen hebben we deze exclusieve evenementen ruimte met eigen duinterras en strandterras ter beschikking op vrijdag en zondag. De ruimte van 150m2 heeft uitzicht op zee en duinen en een houten vloer. Het diner/BBQ op vrijdagavond zullen we bij mooi weer gezamenlijk nuttigen op ons ‘eigen’ strand/duin terras. Until the age of 17 he learned the first secrets of Tango in different schools and academies in the province of Jujuy. During the same period he complemented his artistic career with classes of ballet and contemporary dance while studying classical piano in the music-academy for eight years. Soon Sebastian started giving classes and workshops in state Tango-Schools and Academies and during 3 years he managed his own Dance School in San Salvador de Jujuy and produced and directed a dozen dance shows in the Mitre Theatre in the same city. As a last artistic and cultural project before leaving the province he developed tango- and physical-Expression workshops for schools of the province and for groups of young people with disabilities. At the age of 19 Sebastian began studying Contemporary dance in the National University of Tucuman for 2 years, where he met one of his most important teachers of Tango Salon, Marcelo Altamiranda, who would become one of his most important sources of his love and respect for the traditional tango. Shortly after Sebastian decided to travel to the birthplace of Tango, Buenos Aires. In Buenos Aires Sebastian dedicated his first years to the milongas, getting to know the scene, the secrets, tips and codes of the milonga. In addition to the social dancing he studied tango with teachers such as Osvaldo and Coca and Jorge Garcia. Together with his partner Delia Hou he soon started performing in many of the most popular milongas of Buenos Aires such as: El beso, Porteño y Bailarin, Salon Canning, La Baldoza and Sunderland. In 2012 he began working in several Tango shows; in the Sheraton Hotel, Puerto Madero, Moon Festival in Chinatown, Bar Sur Tango, Anibal Troilo's house, Todo Mundo and the popular tango cafe Cafe Tortoni. To keep developing his understanding of the dance he started taking classes with Roberto Herrera, Diego Amorin and Cecilia Capello, Diego Ortega and Aldana Sylveyra. In 1012 Sebastian and Delia organized the first National Festival of Tango Salon in the province of Cordoba and a series of seminars spread around Argentina. Sebastian and Delia traveled together through Chile and USA teaching Tango Salon. And later they closed their time as a dance-couple with a tour to Asia where they participated in the X-Posed festival next to dancers as Milena Plebs and other guest artists. During this tour they also gave several seminars in the Phillipines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Taiwan. In the beginning of 2013 Sebastian dictated a cycle of classes in the Tango Salon school “La Esquina” owned by Fernando Galera and Vilma Vega. In May 2013 he opened his own small space in Villa Urquiza called "El Garaje" dedicate to Tango in which he continues to give regular classes with Belen Fritzler. In 2014 Sebastian went on an extensive tour in Europe and Asia from June to October. The tour included the countries: Denmark, England, Belgium, Holland and the Netherlands and also countries in Asia like Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei doing workshops, classes and performances. Part of it he did together with Eva Lehrmann with whom he is currently working in Buenos Aires and with whom he worked with in December 2014 and January 2015 in the Province of Jujuy (Argentina) and La Paz (Bolivia). The 2015 tour was also partially be accompanied by Eva Lehrmann visiting different countries in Asia and Europ and ending his tour 2015 working for two months in Northern England with his current partner Belen Fritzler. Now in 2016 he is touring with his partner Belen Fitzler working in Denmarck and UK before his tour for Asia. Danielle’s life revolves around music and dance. She is the solo harpist of the Residentie Orkest (The Hague Philharmonic), and besides tango, she also teaches music, yoga and dance expression. During the eight years since she discovered Argentine tango for herself, she has become a truly avid and devoted dancer. She traveled throughout Europe and to Buenos Aires to take lessons with the best Argentinian teachers. She has been teaching tango for over four years, with a lot of dedication, and she strives to convey her love for tango to her students. She has taught at Cuartito Azul in Rotterdam (with Hendrik Jan van Rijswijk), at State of Tango in Utrecht (with Bas Knuttel), at Argentijnse Tango Anna Rosa (with Koos Volkers), at Tangopasion in Amsterdam, at de Tangostudio in Alkmaar and at El Compas in Haarlem (with Sebastian Coli Bazzini) and at Chassé Dance Studios in Amsterdam (with Vitor Costa). In 2015 she founded her own tangoschool in Amsterdam: Tangostudio. Here she teaches with Bart Boskaljon, Martin van Kesteren and international guest teachers. For her, tango is a source of inspiration, growth, and enjoyment. She keeps improving her own art of tango with a lot of passion and dedication by taking workshops and participating in tango festivals. From 19 till August 21 Sebastian Pereyra & Danielle Riegelwill teach a tango weekend in a beautiful location at the Dutch coast. We are guests at Strandhotel Camperduin Schoorl. Its an ideal place for a relaxing and inspiring tango vacation! The hotel is located close to the sea, in the most beautiful dunes of the Netherlands. You can go hiking and cycling, and of course enjoy the beach and the sea nearby. A few hundred meters further Strandpaviljoen Camperduin is located. With a private entrance through the dunes we enter this exclusive event space, including a private beach- and dune-terrace terrace with sea view. Here we will have dinner on Friday and lunch can be served (for own account). In the Strandpaviljoen the tango lessons will take place on Friday and Sunday. The lessons will be designed, so that for all levels specific challenges and exercises can be created, within the various concepts and techniques discussed. In the afternoon, there is room to take a (short) private lesson for a reduced fee.
