TangoWorks Workshop Series and Assisted Practica at Bienvenido Studio

We are so excited to finally share two courses specially curated for our community in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. The studio is conveniently located in Maryland borderline DC The first course is Open to all levels and mixed roles, for those who have been just starting to dance to the more seasoned dancer alike! The second part of the course is for those who have been going deeper into their dance and want to explore more possibilities and get the tools to improve their level and quality of dancing. We also Have an open Assisted practica from 4-6Pm where Diego and Alejandra will be available to provide feedback. 1-2Pm- Forms “Beyond Styles”: Developing Concepts of body awareness, exploring base structures, technique drills to develop tools for connection and better understanding of social Argentine Tango. How can we dance freely, comfortably and truly enjoy? Technique as a base of mutual respect to our bodies and our partners of all kinds of forms and “styles” alike. Progressive course-Drop-ins Allowed Contribution Drop in:$28 Adv Sign up:$85 until June 14- or $100 After Couples:$140 ($126 until June 14) Full time student: Drop-in:$15 Entire series:$50 2:15-4PM: In Depth Tango Workshop Series Intermediate/Advance Dancers Only (Forms “Beyond styles” Class Participants are encouraged to sit and watch this class for free) Every Saturday we will dive deep into Musical interpretation (slow, medium, fast orquestras), open and close embrace figures/structures, connection points, change of dynamics, developing tools for improvisation, subtleties of Tango and more.
