About this Event

Dear Tanguera, The 15th of May we had our first Tangueras talk, online. And after a wonderful talk we are already heading for the next one! Are you longing for the dance? We certainly do! In these times when we have been more apart than ever, it is so nice to find ways to get close again and to get to know each other better. Have you felt a will to share thought and experiences with other women that you share the same passion with? During the Tangueras Talks, we want to join forces, meet and mingle, share and connect through talking about what we all have in common: TANGO! WE are Samira, Elodie and Anna: teachers, organisers but mainly three tangueras that love and long for our community! To join our online conversation and help us pick the next subject, make sure you subscribe following the link below. https://forms.gle/rUpDPbPMuFKxeR7A8. You can choose to talk, share or simply listen to other tangueras’ experiences. The language will be swedish, english and swenglish 🙂 A big abrazo, Anna, Elodie and Samira A bit more about us: Anna Prousanidou Anna discovered her passion for dancing as a teenager. At the age of 17 she began experimenting with different dance styles such as latin-ballroom (mambo, rumba, chacha), contemporary and salsa. In 2014 she was a part of the team at the World Guiness Record event in Thessaloniki , for the largest rueda de casino. While taking different classes and attending events in Greece, France, Norway and Sweden, she has been gradually focusing on tango for the past seven years. Lately she has been collaborating with El Encuentro Tango in Gothenburg in group classes, shows and organizing events. More information: https://www.tangosverige.com/ Elodie Labonne Élodie started her tango journey in 2013 and has rapidly been invited to assist teaching classes and help out in the organisation of events. She instantly fell in love with the community. Fascinated by movement, she also teaches GYROKINESIS®, a unique, gentle method to develop dancing skills. Élodie enjoys using tango as a tool to reflect about life, society and personal interactions. Her talent, passion and commitment led her to leave her office work in 2018 and she is today fully committed to develop a friendly, inclusive community in Göteborg. More information: https://connectwithjoy.com/ Samira Abutaleb Rosenlundh Samira started dancing tango in the year 2000 in Gothenburg, rapt by the non-verbal communication and the social environment in tango, it brought her early to marathons and festivals in Europe and Buenos Aires. She taught continuously more or less with some pauses since 2003 in Gothenburg and in the Nordic countries, and in periods she has also been DJing and organising several events. In her female technique classes she puts a big value in both giving technical tools as well as confidence to women to express themselves and be playful in the dance. Having dancing tango half her life, she feels a huge gratefulness for all that the dance and the community brought to her. Http://www.facebook.com/tangokollektivet
