Taos Workshop with Carrie Field by Joshlyn Marino

Please join us for a one-day, two hour tango technique intensive with Carrie Field visiting from San Francisco. Enhance the accuracy of the physical mechanics of your embrace and spiral and improve accuracy of communication, highlighting your sixth (vestibular), seventh (proprioception), and eight (interceptions) senses. About Carrie: Carrie Field fell in love with tango in 2005, and after many trips to Buenos Aires, she began teaching tango in 2009 in Taos, NM. Her experience in education and teaching movement modalities such as Pilates, Yoga, and Gyrotonic since 1992, offers her insight into the move body that she applied to Tango. She has a B.A. in Dance, a M.S. in Occupational Therapy, certifications in Pilates, Yoga, and Gyrotonic, and a previous career as a modern dancer. She feels privileged to share her passion for tango in small communities and as a regular guest instruction at tango festivals around the southwestern US.
