Tap & Solo Jazz for Beginners Course Time: 8-9pm Date: Fridays (Jul 3, 10, 17, 24) Price: HK$600 for the full course/ $200 drop in (no drop in after week 1) Venue: STEAM (9/F Dawning House, 145 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan) Tap dance was the first African American art form to achieve mainstream popularity and it heavily influenced future art forms and music. This is why we see tap steps and movements in solo jazz repertoire today. In this brand new cycle we’ll learn a choreographed routine with both tap and solo jazz steps. Classes will be followed by our resumed socials. This cycle is opened for tap beginners with solo dancing experience.
