We invite you to DIVINA TANGO WEEKEND in LA which includes: THURSDAY/NOVEMBER 14 ~ 2 hours of women’s technique workshops ~ 2 hours of men’s technique workshops ~ Welcome Practilonga Party w/ DJ Achaval ~WOMEN’S & MEN’S TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP (ALL LEVEL)~ THURSDAY 11/14 ~ 8:00PM-10:00PM (Registration for W&M's technique workshops is separate from Couples' Only Workshops). Women’s Technique Workshop – THINK ABOUT TWO ~ Elements to improve the connection, developing consciousness of our body, preparing for the encounter with the other one. Men’s Technique Workshop – THE FUNDAMENTALS ~ This technique class is based on the work of the main concepts in tango explored at a high level. Working about the pillars for the construction of the dance (walk, “ochos”, turns and changes of direction). We will start practicing the pushing, the resistances, the changes of weight, the pivots and the twist. Finally we will look for the fluidity of the movements in the turns such as crosses, “lápices” and “enrosques”.
