Her musical and somatic offering draws knowledge from ancient frequencies and instrumentation, mesoamerican shamanism and earth-rooted spiritual practices. She innerstands the urgency of a person's soul initiation into community and the psychospiritual connection to grief, breakthroughs, pain and estrangement, and serves to create spaces of safe exploration of our bodies and minds through somatic dance and a deep research on psychoacoustic and neuroacoustic work. Her unique background in both academic and extensive life experiences in community building and individual psychosomatic research brings the unique approach to music and sound healing that her sessions are known for. www.naobamusic.com www.instagram.com/naobamusic ---------------------------------------- Sita Devi is a yogini, kirtan artist and ecstatic dance facilitator. She is dedicated to being in service through Bhakti Yoga. Sita registered with the Yoga Alliance in 2007 for 500 hours and has been teaching yoga for 15 years. Sita began teaching at Bhakti Yoga Shala, in Santa Monica, California where she developed her skills as a teacher and kirtan leader under the guidance of her beloved teacher and friend, Govind Das. Her passion for traveling and being in service has taken her on tour teaching and chanting at events all over the globe. For the past 5 years, Sita has been teaching in the San Fransisco Bay Area at Namaste Yoga and Yoga Tree. Sita teaches a variety of yoga, movement and dance modalities. She currently hosts retreats worldwide in India, Bali, Europe, Guatemala and the Pacific Northwest, as well as local retreat centers including Esalen, 1440 Multiversity, Mandala Springs and Sierraville. In the Bay Area, she has been facilitating, teaching and doing sound healing at Ecstatic Dance since 2008. Some events Sita has performed and taught at include: San Francisco Yoga Journal Conference, Nantucket Yoga Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Wanderlust, Symbiosis, Gaia, Pranafest, Bhaktifest, Lucidity, Beloved, Earthdance, Yoga Rocks the Park, Color Festival, Sonic Bloom, V Elements, Enchanted Forest, Hawaii Spirit Festival, SoulPlay and Mystic Island Festival. Sita’s intention is to share Bhakti making it easily accessible. It is her dream to make Bhakti something that anyone can do, without limitation, expectation, discrimination or judgement. Sita’s prayer is for her service to help those around her to feel more present, connected with their heart and aligned with their true selves. ---------------------------------------- Born in Korea, raised on the East Coast, and now finding her home in California, Sarah has been on quite the journey. She has lived 15 years abroad, 5 years backpacking and living throughout Asia, and 10 years in France. Sarah completed her advanced yoga teacher training in NY 20 years ago, and has also studied in Rishikesh, India, & Chiang Mai, Thailand. She has practiced and studied with many teachers and healers throughout different countries and now shares these findings in the classes she teaches and holds. Her style of teaching is healing, highly intuitive, aligned physically + spiritually, and she naturally guides her students to find their own truth, voice, expression, and inner knowing. She is a co-creator, an artist, martial arts practitioner, an adventurer at heart, teacher, and also a friend. A forever student of life, she weaves all of her practices together and offers a wide range of tools that vary for students to tap into to heal and empower themselves. ---------------------------------------- Imani Rae will be offering tarot readings throughout the evening.
