Since then she has been a chef and product developer for local healthy food companies like Urban Remedy and Good Earth. She is wholeheartedly happy to serve the Bay Area Dance Community in nourishing connection from within. When she is not playing with her food, Leela teaches Play based Authentic Relating & Connection Classes, Full & New Moon Circles for Womyn+, & Cacao Ceremony Soundbaths. She often starts her day with a cup of tea. From Puer to herbal teas, she appreciates the medicine of plants. When she sits for her meditation or movement practice, the cup of tea guides her to focus and be present. She has always loved sharing tea with others, during her travels all around the world she had the opportunity and interest to learn about medicinal plants and tea. Recently she has been initiated how to serve puer in a more ceremonial way, she is continuously learning and humbled by the culture of tea in China and Japan. Alessandra loves crafting herbal blends combining medicinal properties in tea, but above all, she is a passionate chocolate maker! Her recent creation, La Gourmande, delicious raw cacao truffles, pair divinely with tea. Both tea herbal blends and cacao truffles are available for purchase.
