She interweaves Axis Syllabus, contact improvisation, mindfulness, and somatic awareness into her unique approach to the art of movement. She draws on her extensive training in anatomy, developmental movement, Chinese medicine, Body-Mind Centering, circus arts, body psychotherapy, yoga, and Continuum. Inherent in her philosophy is the inseparable relationship between healing and dance. The marriage of these serves as a vehicle for the empowerment of ourselves and the nourishment of our destiny. Bronwyn runs her Holistic Medical Arts Clinic in Berkeley, CA where she treats people with a combination of acupuncture, plant medicine, ritual, Rosen Method Bodywork, Reiki, and nutrition. She is an Axis Syllabus Certified Teacher. Yoga: Rachel Heron My journey as a yogini began in 1992, with David Life and Sharon Gannon, the creators of the Jivamukti style of Hatha yoga. I received my 200 hr yoga teacher certification from the Sivananda Ashram in 1994, and began teaching right away. Over the past 28 years I’ve studied the styles of Kripalu, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Forrest, and Anusara. I have been blessed with many esteemed teachers in these varying traditions. My classes are vigorous, deep, and anchored in therapeutic alignment principles. I believe that when we can stay present in a pose–truly present to the fluctuations of energy, sensation, breath, emotion, thinking-we can extend that experience to the practice of LIVING. Yoga invites me to engage compassion and empathy, to sense what’s here and now, and to live wakefully. It’s my honor and service to share the practice and these benefits with my students. Meditation: Shannon Sahaja Two decades of holding space for yoga, meditation, and multiple forms of dance. Shannon offers exquisite meditations while creating impeccable sacred space. Participants often reflect on how incredibly safe they feel in her field. www.shannonsahaja.com ----- All are Welcome, Without Restrictions or Limitations. We only ask that you refrain from: 1.
