Over ten weeks, our courses will focus on solid technique, strong foundations and real progression, giving you the opportunity to consolidate what you’ve learned this year, strengthen the areas that need work and head into the Christmas break feeling confident and ready for a fresh start in 2027. For our brand-new dancers, this is also the perfect time to begin. You’ll have ten full weeks to build your foundations properly, rather than trying to piece things together from drop-in classes. Whether you are beginning your dance journey or have been dancing with us all year, Term Four is the term to invest in your dancing. TERM DATES Monday 5 October – Thursday 10 December 2026 DURATION All courses run for 10 weeks. LOCATION Bfitt Studio 6/2 Woodman Court, West End ⸻ MONDAY 6:30pm — Intro to Rueda de Casino with Cara and Michel Beginner / Foundations Discover one of the most joyful forms of Cuban social dance! Rueda de Casino takes Cuban Salsa and dances it together in a circle, with partners changing throughout. This course will introduce the essential calls, timing, partner connection and foundations you need to confidently join a Rueda. Perfect for Salsa dancers ready to discover the world of Rueda. 6:30pm — Beyond Beginner / Intermediate Bachata with Amelia Ready to move beyond the basics? This course develops stronger Bachata technique, partner connection, body movement, musicality and more interesting combinations. Ideal for dancers who already understand basic Bachata timing and want to become smoother, more confident social dancers. 7:30pm — Beginner Salsa with Cara and Michel Your Salsa journey starts here. Our complete introduction to Cuban Salsa, designed for people with little or no previous experience. Learn timing, rhythm, fundamental steps, partner connection, leading and following, and the essential movements that create a strong foundation for everything that comes next. If you’ve been saying “I’ve always wanted to learn Salsa” — this is your class. 7:30pm — Beyond Beginner Salsa with Rod You know the basics. Now it’s time to make them feel like dancing. This course bridges the gap between Beginner and Intermediate Salsa, developing movement quality, technique, partnerwork, combinations, musicality and confidence. An important progression course for dancers wanting to build a much stronger Salsa foundation. 8:30pm — Intermediate / Advanced Salsa with Cara and Rod This is where we dig deeper. Designed for experienced Salsa dancers, this course will challenge your technique, movement, musicality, partner connection and understanding of Cuban dance. Expect more complex combinations and concepts — but most importantly, a continued focus on how and why the movement works. ⸻ TUESDAY 7:30pm — Intermediate / Advanced Rueda de Casino with Cara and Michel Fast, social, challenging and ridiculously good fun. For experienced Rueda dancers, this course develops more complex calls, transitions, timing, flow, partner changes and group awareness. Come ready to think quickly, listen carefully and dance together. 7:30pm — Intermediate / Advanced Belly Dance with Fiorella A technique-focused course for experienced Belly Dancers wanting to continue developing precision, control, musicality and movement quality. Fiorella will work with students to refine technique, strengthen movement vocabulary and build greater confidence and expression within their dancing. 8:30pm — Rueda de Son with Rod Something beautifully different. Rueda de Son brings the elegance, timing and grounded quality of Cuban Son into the social structure of Rueda. This course explores Son timing, movement, partner connection and musicality while challenging experienced dancers to approach Cuban dance from a completely different perspective. A fantastic course for dancers wanting to deepen their understanding of Cuban movement beyond Salsa. ⸻ WEDNESDAY 6:30pm — Beginner Urban Kiz with May New to Urban Kiz? Start here. Learn the foundations of this smooth, connected partner dance with an emphasis on timing, posture, weight transfer, leading and following, connection and fundamental movement. No previous Urban Kiz experience required. 7:30pm — Beginner Bachata with May A complete introduction to Bachata. Learn the rhythm, basic steps, partnerwork and essential leading and following skills in a welcoming course designed to build confidence from the ground up. Perfect for complete beginners or dancers wanting to strengthen their foundations. 8:30pm — Intermediate / Advanced Bachata with May For experienced Bachata dancers ready for greater challenge and refinement. Develop more sophisticated partnerwork, musicality, movement quality, connection and technique while learning how to make your dancing feel smoother, clearer and more intentional. ⸻ THURSDAY 6:30pm — Beginner Belly Dance with Cara No dance experience required. Just come as you are. All welcome. Discover the foundations of Egyptian Belly Dance through posture, isolations, hip work, travelling steps, beautiful arm pathways, musicality and traditional movement vocabulary. This course is designed to teach Belly Dance as an art form — building technique, body awareness, strength, confidence and an understanding of the movement from the very beginning. ⸻ WHY TERM FOUR MATTERS It can be tempting to reach the end of the year and think, “I’ll start again next year.” But consistency is where dancers are made. Term Four gives you ten more weeks to strengthen your technique, correct habits, build confidence and consolidate everything your body has learned throughout 2026. Then, when classes return in 2027, you’re not starting again. You’re starting stronger. And if you’ve never danced with us before? There is no need to wait for a new year to become a beginner.
