TGIF Salsa & Latin Party

Thank God it’s FANIA Friday. The capital city’s new monthly Salsa & Latin party! TGIF will be held every month throughout 2015. Come along to dance to music from Wellington’s best DJs in a beautiful large open studio space. There will be a mix to suit all Latin tastes – Salsa, Timba, Bachata, Zouk, Samba, Cha cha and, if you beg to the DJ, maybe even some Reggaeton ;-) This April is EASTER! DJ Panda, (dressed as the easter bunny) will be lining up the hottest Salsa of ’15 as well as dusting off the FANIA classics, to operate under a simple directive: keep the seats empty and the dance floor packed! Beginners 30 minute crash course starts at 9pm Whether you are new to Salsa or a seasoned pro, we want this event to be for everyone and enjoyed by all! $10 cash entry at the door Level 3, 25 Vivian Street Wellington Performing Arts Centre (WPAC) BYO beverages Event proceeds will go towards The Clave Collective Salsa Performance team’s trip to perform at the 2016 LA Congress.
